New Season Lamb

Our new-season lamb is usually available around the end of August as lambing here in the Highland hills tends to be late into the spring. Good meat can't be rushed, so we bring all our lambs on slowly without using growth-promoting concentrates. Once weaned, they're entirely grass fed on ancient species rich pastures to bring out the best firm full-flavoured eating qualities. A world away from much of the imported stuff often found in the shops. Cuts tend to be quite small which is reflected in the price.
